Recognizing the 2019 Leadership Awards

Dedicated and passionate women leaders are working tirelessly across Western North Carolina, to tackle some of the most pressing issues of our generation. They are often committed to impact over visibility, meaning that these ladies are often toiling away quietly within their circles, with little recognition of their hard work. The Economic Bruncheon Leadership Awards celebrate 18 women, in 6 categories, who are making significant strides in advancing and supporting the future of WNC. We are proud to tell their story and acknowledge their commitment to excellence.

The Six Categories are:

  1. Environment
  2. Education
  3. Equity
  4. Arts & Culture
  5. Economy
  6. Regional

Equity Tickets

The Economic Bruncheon is committed to convening female leaders around the topic of economic impact and empowerment for all women across WNC. To ensure that our conversation is a true reflection of our dynamic region, while fully embracing the role of equitable opportunity and impact of women, we are awarding 30 complimentary tickets to women of color.
